Coffee

The coffee that grows in Kenya is often referred to as fruity with notes of wine, lemongrass, cocoa or black-currant.  The aroma is fresh and floral; while the body is rich and heavy.  It typically has a very bright acidity level and will leave you with a great tasting cup of coffee or gourmet espresso drink.

Our beans are offered in AA – which means they are the largest and considered the best size for the most flavorful and consistent taste we can provide.  Pure Kenya coffee beans are roasted in a medium roast in order to bring out the coffee’s maximum flavor, while not over roasting.

Our coffee is exported from select partners as fresh green beans and roasted to perfection in California, so its freshness is maintained and shipped within a short time from roasting.

While some may offer a Kenyan blend of coffee, meaning some percentage are actually the highly sought-after Kenyan origin, our beans are 100% single origin, from Kenya.

Tea

Kenyan tea is one of the finest in the world.  Our tea partners in Kenya process fresh tea throughout the year.  Our tea is packaged at the source and sealed to lock in its freshness.  Our black tea is packaged as individual bags to enjoy single cups or available in loose leaf for larger batches.  Enjoy with milk and spices for a traditional Kenyan taste.

Traditional Kenyan tea is prepared and served while combining boiling water already infused with loose leaf black tea and aromatic spices (also called tea masala or chai spiced) before adding milk and leaving at a low boil until the mixture is fully blended. Serve hot and enjoy!

The Kericho region of Kenya is home to an abundance of tea fields with both large commercial and small crop tea farmers.  This region has an ideal climate for tea production; with high elevation, mild climate, and an abundance of annual rain.  This crop boosts the local and regional economies, providing for many jobs and improving their way of life.  Our commitment is to partner with farms, tea processors, and packaging companies that hold high standards of excellence for the way the plants are grown and harvested as well as the wages and way of life for the workers involved in the process of creating our products.
